Who We Are

Marie Myug-Ok Lee
Marie Myug-Ok Lee came to the healing power of medical cannabis during her journey to help her son recover from non-speaking autism. When the staff at his special needs school found his meltdowns too challenging to manage and insisted that he be placed on a harsh antipsychotic like Risperidone, Marie, encouraged by the Harvard Medical School physician Lester Grinspoon, turned instead to plant medicine. The results were so transformative that she made it her mission to share the benefits of medical cannabis with other families. Marie has written about her son's experience with plant medicine for Slate, The Washington Post, and other venues, and appeared on Sanjay Gupta's special report on medical cannabis for CNN.

Jon Piasecki
Jon Piasecki, aka The Cyclops, loves Cannabis. He has been cultivating this magical plant for 48 years. Learning to grow Cannabis and then learning about the ethnobotanical history of Cannabis inspired Jon to study plant biology at Cornell and later landscape architecture at Harvard. He started Wiseacre Farm, with his business partner David, to explore the fullness of the plant and use conventional plant breeding to better adapt Cannabis to the Northeastern climate and to take advantage of the special potential this region offers. He is a Rome Prize winner and a passionate advocate for Cannabis use to help people who suffer. Jon is friends with J., Marie, Karl and Peter.

Peter Glantz
Peter Glantz is the founder of Howls, a cannabis tincture made the old-fashioned way - whole plant, full spectrum, and crafted for real relief. A former music video and stage director for the likes of Wilco, NPR Music, and OK Go, Peter turned to cannabis after a degenerative eye condition left him in chronic pain. His remedy worked so well it grew into a patient-supported brand thriving for 13 years in New England. He now joins Wiseacre Farms and the Jacoby Lee family to create Spectrum to expand access to this gentle, effective plant medicine.
